Summary

Identify and fix issues preventing your campaigns from running properly. This article explains the different error indicators you'll see in Campaign Insights, what they mean, and how to resolve them to get your campaigns back on track.

How It Works

Campaign Insights displays visual indicators when it detects problems with your campaigns, ad sets, or ads. These indicators appear as warning icons, error badges, or status messages that alert you to issues requiring attention. Errors can range from simple configuration problems to policy violations or technical issues with the Meta platform.

The system continuously monitors for errors during regular data synchronization. When issues are detected, they're displayed prominently so you can take corrective action. Some errors prevent delivery entirely, while others may only limit performance or functionality.

Before You Begin

  • Error resolution may require access to Meta Ads Manager

  • Some errors need account-level permissions to fix

  • Policy violations may require creative or targeting changes

  • Technical errors might resolve automatically with time

Step-by-Step Instructions

To identify errors in your campaigns:

  1. Look for red error visual indicators in the table

  2. Check the Delivery column for error states

  3. Look for banner notifications at the top of the interface

To resolve errors:

  1. Click on the error indicator

  2. View error that is causing problem

  3. Fix the issue with manual edit

  4. Save changes and publish if needed
