Asset Library Overview
1. Summary
The Asset Library is your built-in storage system for managing all creative assets used in Studio, Templates, and Feeds. It replaces external storage tools like Google Drive with a fast, reliable, and predictable file system.
You can upload files, organize them into folders, browse in a gallery view, and quickly copy public URLs that never break—even when asset names change.
Use it to centralize your creative production and keep your templates consistently rendering, without unstable links.
2. How It Works
The Asset Library functions like a simplified, high-performance drive embedded directly inside your Hunch workspace.
Every Hunch Account has its own isolated library (switching accounts switches the library).
Files are inside the folders, that you can structure.
Upload any supported file type via button, drag-and-drop, or bulk upload.
Each file has a public, stable URL served via CDN. Renaming or replacing the file does not change the URL.
You can bulk-select assets to copy their URLs, export them to CSV, or delete them.
Studio’s asset picker uses this same library, allowing you to insert stored assets directly into your templates.
3. Before You Begin
You must have access to the Hunch Account where you want to store assets.
Account availability is managed at the Team level by Admins in your Team.
Supported file types: jpg, png, webp, mp4, webm, mp3, and vector formats.
The maximum file size for any upload is 20 MB.

5. Use Cases & Common Problems
Use Case 1 — Stable URLs for Templates
If your templates previously broke because Google Drive or other external links expired, the Asset Library solves this.
Public URLs never change—even after renaming or replacing.
Use Case 2 — Bulk Uploading and Managing Creative Sets
Drag and drop dozens of assets at once, select them all, and quickly export links for use in your feed or Studio templates.
Use Case 3 — Fast Asset Sharing Across the Team
Because URLs are public and stable, anyone on your team or any external tool can safely use them without permission issues.
Common Problem — Duplicate File Names
If you try uploading a file whose name already exists in the folder, the system will prompt you to Replace or Cancel.
Renaming the new file before uploading avoids this dialog.
