Summary
Authorizations connect your Hunch team to the ad platforms you run campaigns on. Integrations connect your team to reporting and notification tools. Both are managed once at the Team level in Settings and apply across all Accounts and users within your Team.
This article covers how to authorize Meta & Snapchat and how to understand permission indicators that appear on businesses, ad accounts, and pages.
How It Works
Authorizations are team-level connections to ad platforms. Once an authorization is in place, Hunch can fetch your businesses, ad accounts, pages, and catalogs from that platform and make them available for use across all Accounts in your Team.
Integrations are optional connections to reporting and notification tools. They do not affect campaign delivery but enable extended analytics and alerting within Hunch.
Both Authorizations and Integrations are managed by Team Admins only. Users with the Member role can view authorized platforms but cannot add, remove, or reconnect them.
Before You Begin
Admin access required. Only Team Admins can add or manage authorizations and integrations.
Make sure the person completing the authorization holds the necessary permissions on the ad platform β at minimum, Admin access over the Business or Organization you plan to connect.
You can authorize multiple platforms independently. Each platform's authorization is managed separately within the same Authorizations tab.

Step-by-Step Instructions
To authorize Meta (Facebook)
Go to Settings from the top-right menu.
Open the Authorizations tab.
Click Authorize in the Meta (Facebook) section.
You will be redirected to Facebook to sign in and grant Hunch the required permissions.
Once redirected back to Hunch, you need to select which Businesses you want to connect to Hunch. If you want to change selection at any point, you can do so by clicking Manage.
Click Save to confirm your Business selection.
If you do not see any Businesses or ad accounts after authorization, check that your Facebook account has the required Business Manager permissions for those assets.
To authorize Snapchat
Go to Settings from the top-right menu.
Open the Authorizations tab.
Click Authorize in the Snapchat section.
You will be redirected to Snapchat to sign in and grant the required permissions.
Once redirected back, your Snapchat account will appear as connected.
Select the Snapchat Organizations you want to connect with Hunch.
Click Save.
To reconnect or remove an authorization
To refresh an expired authorization: click the Sync icon next to your connected account. This re-triggers the OAuth flow without losing your Business or Organization selections.
To remove an authorization: click the Remove icon. This will disconnect all ad accounts and pages associated with that authorization from your Hunch Accounts. Existing campaigns will not be affected but new campaign creation will be blocked until re-authorized.
Understanding Permission Indicators
After authorization, Hunch checks your permission level for each connected entity and displays indicators directly in Settings.
Businesses and Organizations
No indicator: You are an Admin over this Business. You will have full access to all capabilities within Hunch.
Warning indicator: You are a Member of this Business, not an Admin. Some capabilities are limited β see the table below.
Missing indicator: This Business was previously connected but is no longer accessible. This is shown differently from a permission warning.
