If you want to showcase multiple items in one video over an ad, you can do so by using our Slideshow feature.

First, go to the Automated Catalog you want to publish in your next ad.

From there, move to Templates; click on +Create for Video template.

You can pick any existing template or create a new one.

From there, you must pick between Single or Multi-Item templates. You need to select the Multi-Item option. After that, another window will let you choose between Generative Slideshow or Custom Animation Mode. By choosing Slideshow, you have successfully started creating a Slideshow template; congrats!

If you are interested in Custom mode, you can read more about it here.

Before adding any animations, you should create a layout for your ad. The layout should contain all elements you want to use to showcase a single item within a slideshow, such as product image, price, discount, or other elements.

Once you are satisfied with your layout, you can start animating!

To start animating, click on the pink button on the left side of the interface. That will open the Slideshow Animations tab. From there, you can select any animation you want to implement and the Speed, Duration and Delay of an animation.

You can see how your elements will react by hovering over an animation. (It depends on whether it is an image or text)

By default, only the dynamic elements will be animated. If you want to add the animations to other layers, you can do so by clicking on the Edit Layout button. From there, you can go to the Layers tab and add an animation by hovering over the layer you want to add and clicking on the lightning bolt icon. To save the changes, hit the Confirm Layout button.

Lastly, you can preview the Slideshow you created by hitting the play button.

Once satisfied, you can hit save in the studio and remember to hit save from the catalogue.

You can read this article if you need more help regarding the Multi-Item templates and how to create more groups.
