Currency Formatting Features in Creative Studio

Hunch Creative Studio provides robust currency formatting options for fields price_no_currency and sale_price_no_currency. These options help you display monetary values in predefined or custom formats. Below are the available features and how to use them:

Predefined Formats

Creative Studio offers several predefined currency formats that use default currency symbols. These formats make it easy to quickly apply standard currency formats to your fields.

Custom Currency Formatting

For more control over how currency is displayed, you can use the custom formatting options. Here’s a detailed explanation of each setting available under custom formatting:

  1. Currency Symbol

    • Choose the symbol to represent your currency. This can be a common symbol like $, , or a custom text like USD. You can also opt for no symbol.

    Example:

    • $ (Dollar)

    • (Euro)

    • USD (United States Dollar)

    • None (No symbol)

  2. Symbol Placement

    • Decide where the currency symbol should be placed: on the left of the amount or on the right as with the option to have blank space between the sign and the number.

    Example:

    • Left: $12,345.67

    • Right: 12,345.67$

  3. Number of Decimals

    • Specify how many decimal places should be shown (between 0 and 3). Typically, this is set to 2 for most currencies.

    Example:

    • 2 decimals: 12,345.67

    • 0 decimals: 12,346

  4. Decimal Format

    • In case you have picked to have 1 or more decimals you can choose how the decimals should be formatted. Options include:

      • After Separator: Standard decimal placement.

      • Superscript: Decimals appear in superscript format.
