To get your Figma designs in Hunch Creative Studio, you will need Hunch plugin which you can find from plugin section in Figma by typing Hunch or in this link.

After you get the plugin you can start working.
In order to get a file you can upload to Hunch Creative Studio you need to select a frame which you want to export.

After that you can hit export button. It will prepare all the assets to be ready to use in Hunch Studio. When it's finished it will ask you to save it on your PC and name the file. The file will be .zip format.

After that you can open Studio where you can find Figma panel where you just need to upload your file which was exported.

Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and accurate import of your Figma file, please adhere to the following guidelines:

General Design Guidelines

  1. Image Rotation: Avoid rotating images within fills. Rotated images may not import correctly.

  2. Gradients: Always place gradients horizontally. Vertical or angled gradients may not be interpreted correctly during import.

  3. Fill and Stroke Colors: Only the color of the first fill and stroke will be applied. Ensure your primary color is the first in the list.

  4. Stroke Position: Do not use outside strokes. Use inside or center strokes for proper parsing.

  5. Blend Modes: Only the normal blend mode is supported. Avoid using other blend modes as they may not import correctly.

  6. Boolean Operations: Flatten all boolean operations before import. Unflattened operations may not be parsed correctly.

Text and Effects Guidelines

  1. Font Sizes: Different font sizes within a single text box are not supported. Use separate text boxes for different sizes.

  2. Blur Effects: Blur effects can only be applied to pictures. Avoid using blur on other elements.

  3. Stroke Gradients: Gradient colors for strokes are not supported. Use solid colors for strokes.

  4. Textbox Width: Due to differences in how Figma and Hunch use text wrap sometimes single line text will be wrapped even tho it shouldn’t. The fix for this is to ensure that textboxes have a sufficient width.

Components, Instances and Frames

  1. Components and Instances: Components and instances are supported but can produce inconsistent results, it is recommended to use groups whenever possible.

  2. Frames: The top-most frame containing the entire design should not be rotated and there should not be any other frames inside your design.

By following these guidelines, you'll help ensure that your Figma design is imported accurately and efficiently into Hunch Studio.
