Summary
Filters help you quickly find and focus on specific campaigns, ad sets, or ads by narrowing the data in your table. Combine multiple filter types to create precise views, save time navigating large datasets, and share filtered views with teammates using bookmarkable URLs.
How It Works
Filters limit which items appear in your table based on the criteria you set. They apply across all levels: campaigns, ad sets, and ads. Filter types include:
Default filters (Campaign Source, Ad Account, Status โ these are always active and cannot be removed)
Custom filters for attributes (e.g., ROAS, Budget) All active filters use AND logic and are reflected in the URL for sharing/bookmarking.
Cross-Level Filtering
Filters can apply across parent-child levels within your campaign structure:
Child-to-Parent (Bottom-up): When applying child-based filters at the parent level, only parent records with at least one child that matches the filter will be shown.
Example: Show campaigns that have at least one ad with Spend > $1000.
Parent-to-Child (Top-down): When applying parent-based filters at the child level, only child records whose parent matches the filter will be shown.
Example: Show only ads from campaigns with names containing "US".
Before You Begin
Make sure campaigns, ad sets, or ads are visible in your workspace by selecting a view
Be aware that some metrics may have limited historical data, with January 1, 2025 as the earliest available date

Use Cases / Troubleshooting
Search for a specific campaign, ad set, or ad: Use filters to narrow down based on name, status, or performance.
Find items matching performance criteria: For example, filter by ROAS less than your target, then sort by spend to prioritize.
Missing campaigns or data? Check if filters are too restrictive or if certain statuses (e.g., Draft) are excluded. Try using Clear All to reset.
FAQs
Q: Can I save my filter combinations?
A: Not as presets, but filter selections are stored in the URL. Bookmark or share it.
Q: Do filters change metrics?
A: They affect what entities are shown, not how metrics are calculated.
Q: Why donโt I see all ad accounts?
A: You can only filter accounts available to your current Hunch login.
Q: How do parent-child filters work?
A: A parent campaign appears only if at least one child (e.g., ad set) matches the filter.
Q: Can I use multiple custom filters?
A: Yes. All filters use AND logic, so items must meet all conditions to appear.
