Summary

Customize which data columns appear in your campaign table to focus on the metrics and attributes that matter most to you. You can show or hide columns, reorder them, and use presets to create personalized views for each tab level: Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ads, helping you stay focused and efficient.

How It Works

The Columns button lets you switch between presets and manage column configurations for the current table view. Your selected columns are saved as one configuration across all levels, but not all columns are available on every tab. Only columns relevant to the current hierarchy level will be shown. Column settings persist across sessions but are saved per user and browser. Changes you make won’t affect your teammates.

Column types include:

  • Setup

  • Performance

  • Engagement

  • Conversion

You can also use default presets to switch views based on your task (e.g., performance review or setup analysis).

Before You Begin

  • Decide which metrics are most important for your current task

  • Understand that some columns are only available at specific levels (e.g., Ad Set Budget won’t show on Campaigns tab)

  • Note that a few core columns like Status and Name are fixed and cannot be hidden

Step-by-Step Instructions

Opening the Column Selector

  1. Click the Columns dropdown in the toolbar above the table

  2. In the dropdown, you’ll see default, shared, and custom presets, along with a Manage Columns option

  3. Click Manage Columns to open the configuration panel

  4. The panel lets you:

    • View and switch between presets

    • Search for specific columns

    • Show or hide columns

    • Drag and reorder selected columns in the right panel

    • Save your configuration as a new preset

Optional: When creating a new preset, you can choose to make it available to all users on your Hunch account.

Note: Default and shared presets cannot be modified directly. If you make changes while viewing one of these, the system will prompt you to save them as a new custom preset.

Showing and Hiding Columns

  1. In the column selector, browse the available categories: Setup, Performance, Engagement, and Conversion.

  2. Check a box to show a column, uncheck to hide it

  3. Changes apply instantly

Reordering Columns

  1. From the Columns dropdown, click Manage Columns to open the configuration panel

  2. In the selector, drag and drop columns into your preferred order

  3. The table updates to reflect the new order

  4. Note: The new order is only saved if you confirm changes; if you close the selector using the X, changes are applied temporarily but not saved

Using Quick Column Presets

  1. Click the Columns dropdown — this opens a menu that includes all available presets and the Manage Columns option

  2. Select a preset that matches your task

  3. The table updates with the selected preset

Finding Specific Columns

  1. Open the column selector

  2. Use the search box at the top

  3. Type a keyword (e.g., "Budget", "CTR")

  4. The list filters to match your input

  5. Check desired columns to show them

Use Cases / Troubleshooting

  • Performance review: Display key metrics like CTR, ROAS, and CPC while hiding IDs or status fields to reduce noise

  • Budget checks: Focus on Spend, Budget, and Remaining Budget to assess pacing

  • Debug delivery issues: Show Delivery Status, Last Edit, Quality Ranking, and Error fields

  • Overwhelmed by too many columns? Start with Basic View and add only what you need

  • Can't find a metric? Use the search bar in the column selector — some names may differ from expectations

FAQs

Q: Are my column settings shared with teammates?

A: User has their own saved column setup, stored per user account. Column settings are private unless you explicitly save a preset and choose to make it available to your entire Hunch account.

Q: Why are some columns missing on certain tabs?

A: Some Setup columns are specific to each tab level. For example, "Spend cap" is only available on the Campaigns tab.

Q: Is hiding a column the same as filtering?

A: No. Hiding a column removes it from view but doesn’t affect which rows are shown. Filtering limits the rows based on conditions.
