Hunch Light pricing is built around what you actually use: the plan you choose, the add-ons you turn on, and the number of items in your catalog. This article explains each piece and how they fit together. For current prices and bracket ranges, see catalogvideo.ai.
Who can subscribe
Hunch Light is for businesses only. You subscribe on behalf of your company, and invoices are issued to that company. Plans aren't available to individuals buying for personal use.
Your business must be in a supported country. Plans are available in countries where our payment provider, Stripe, can calculate tax. Eligibility is based on the country in your business's billing address. To check your country, open Stripe's list of supported countries and look at the Your customer location column. The Your business location column doesn't apply to you.
Prices are shown before VAT. Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address and shown on every invoice.
Plans
There are two plans, and you can have one at a time: Template Collections or Enriched Feeds, not both. Both plans include 2 enriched feeds per Hunch catalog.
Enriched Feeds lets you create enriched product feeds for your Hunch catalogs and keep them syncing. Enriched feeds work on Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit. Your plan includes 2 enriched feeds per Hunch catalog, and you can pay for additional feeds if you need more. You can see your allowance, and add feeds, in Admin settings. See Enriched feeds.
Template Collections includes everything needed to build templated creative for your catalog, publish it through Connect Ads, and keep your template collections syncing. In Hunch Light, template collections are available for Meta only. Each collection can hold up to 6 image templates, and up to 6 video templates with CPV. See Template collections. Template Collections also includes 2 enriched feeds per Hunch catalog, and it's the only plan that unlocks add-ons.
To keep any Hunch catalog syncing, you need an active plan.
You don't need a plan to build templates. Anyone can create and edit image and video templates. A plan is only needed to add them to a template collection or enriched feed.
Add-ons
Add-ons are only available on Template Collections. They can't be added to the Enriched Feeds plan.
Product Insights creates product sets and Smart Sets based on how your products perform, and keeps them up to date.
CPV adds product videos to your ads. Hunch creates each product's video when it's needed, so you never wait for your whole catalog to render. There's a single CPV package. See Video ads with CPV.
Item-count brackets
Your plan price depends on the number of items ingested into your catalog. Items are grouped into brackets, and each bracket has its own price. CPV follows the same approach, with its own brackets based on item count.
You never choose a bracket by hand. Hunch Light places you in the bracket that matches your item count and adjusts automatically as your catalog changes:
When your item count grows past your current bracket, you move up. See How upgrades work.
When your item count falls below your current bracket, you move down at the start of your next billing period. See How downgrades work.
Every item count belongs to exactly one bracket, so there's never any doubt about which one you're on. You can see the current bracket ranges and prices on catalogvideo.ai.
Plan limits
Both plans have the same two limits:
Products: up to 50,000 products (SKUs).
Ad spend: up to $50,000 in Meta ad spend on ads created through Hunch or ads that use Hunch's enriched feeds. Spend on other platforms doesn't count. [Confirm: the spend limit is counted per billing period]
If your account goes over either limit, syncing pauses for the rest of the billing period. See Why is syncing paused?.
Billing in advance
Hunch Light bills at the start of each billing period for the period ahead. That has a few consequences worth knowing:
Changes that add something (a bigger bracket, a plan upgrade) take effect right away and are charged as a prorated amount for the days left in the period.
Changes that remove or reduce something (turning off an add-on, moving to a smaller plan, cancelling) take effect at the end of the period. Until then, you keep everything you've already paid for.
You aren't refunded for a partial period when you reduce or cancel, because you keep full access through the end of it.
What "prorated" means
When a change takes effect partway through a billing period, you only pay for the portion that's left. The charge is the difference between the old and new price, multiplied by the share of the period remaining.
For example, if you move to a bigger bracket with one third of the billing period left, you pay one third of the price difference between the two brackets. From the next period on, you're billed the full price of the new bracket.
No free trial
Hunch Light doesn't have a time-limited trial. Instead, you can set up and explore for free, connecting Meta and creating catalogs, and syncing and publishing unlock once you add a payment method and choose a plan. See Before you subscribe.
